By submitting an order, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of the www.electrickeys.co.uk website. Please read these terms of sale carefully before placing your order and retain a copy of these terms and your order for future reference. You may find it helpful to print a copy for information.
The Electric Keys brand is a Trade mark brand in Europe and the UK operated under licence by Electric Keys.
a. When you register with the Electric Keys website, you will be required to choose a contact email address and password. You are responsible for all sessions and transactions taken under these details. You should keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone. You should change it immediately if you feel it has been compromised.
b. If any of your details change, such as your credit card billing address, you must inform Electric Keys as soon as possible. You may update your details by signing into your account on the Electric Keys website, and update the relevant section.
Meaning of "you"; "We/Us/Our"
a."You" means any member of the public using this website, placing an order or transacting on this website.
b. "We/Us/Our" means Electric Keys, 11 The Warren, Old Catton, Norwich, NR6 7NN.
The Contract Between Us
a. Any contract for purchases made through this website will be with Electric Keys, registered in England, and whose registered office is 11 The Warren, Old Catton, Norwich, NR6 7NN, VAT registration number 175 4484 81.
b. When you place an order on our website to purchase goods from us that constitutes an "Offer to Buy" from you. We accept this order when we send you an "Order Confirmation" (or "Shipment") email confirming that we have despatched the goods you have ordered from us. That acceptance will be deemed to be complete and the contract formed and communicated to you at the time we send the Confirmation (or Shipment) email, whether you receive that email or not. Electric Keys must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed. Once payment has been received Electric Keys will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email (the Order Confirmation or Shipment email) to you at the email address you provide in your registration form. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. Electric Key’s acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.
c. Electric Keys are entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered before the contract is made (see (b) above) we will contact you as soon as possible by email.
d. The web site is updated daily with regard to Stock Availability. Whilst every effort is made to show the correct availability of stock; the stock availability shown on the website is an indication of the availability at the time of the last update and does not constitute confirmation of stock availability at time of order. Electric Keys are entitled to withdraw from any contract that cannot be fulfilled due to lack of stock. If a stock availability issue is discovered with regard to the goods that you have ordered before the contract is made (see (b) above) we will contact you as soon as possible by email.
Payment for the goods and delivery charges can be made by any method shown on our website at the time you place your order. There will be no delivery until cleared funds are received. Payments shall be made by you without any deduction whether by way of set-off, counterclaim, discount, abatement or otherwise unless you have a valid court order requiring an amount equal to such deduction to be paid by Electric Keys to you.
The website shows the value of the item excluding the VAT. The VAT is shown where applicable after the shipping details have been added. When in the basket the price is broken down to show the Product price exclusive of VAT, the VAT price and the Total value of the order.
Your invoice will also show these details and will be included in the parcel with your products.
Ownership, title and risk
All ownership, title and risk of loss and/or damage in the goods purchased shall pass to you at the point and time at which the goods have been received by you or by someone you have appointed to accept them.
We back all our products with our 100% 'No Quibble' Guarantee for 6 months. In the unlikely event you have any defects or damaged items upon delivery with any item we will:-
- Give full email and/or telephone support
- Arrange any return for you (for UK customers)
- Reimburse you for the cost of returns (for non UK customers)
- Offer to repurchase all or part of the goods from you.

Unwanted / Items Purchased in Error / Cancellation
We will happily exchange or offer to repurchase from you the items you bought within 30 days of purchase. All we ask is that the items were bought from Electric Keys are returned in their original unopened packaging in a resalable condition.

Despatch of Goods to You
a. Electric Keys will arrange post, or arrange a courier on your behalf for, the goods ordered by you to the person and address you give Electric Keys at the time you make your order. The consignee (i.e. the person to whom the consignment is sent) will be the declarant and importer into the country for which the consignment is destined and will be responsible for any and all import fees.
b. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days of despatch of the order. All delivery times quoted on the website are estimates only, based on availability, normal processing and delivery companies. Speed and quality of delivery is very important to us; we want you to be more than satisfied with our service. We make every effort to despatch orders on the day of receipt, if received before 2pm, Monday-Friday for Royal Mail deliveries and 12pm for courier services. Delivery usually takes place within 2-5 working days. In the event we are unable to despatch your order promptly we will email or call you to advise you of this. On the rare occasion that a product is unexpectedly out of stock, we will e-mail or call you as soon as possible to let you know the estimated time for delivery, allowing you to make alternative arrangements, if you wish.
c. UK customers - Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when the goods are in your possession or in the possession of someone you appointed to accept them.
d. International customers - Please keep in mind that international deliveries might incur customs duties and import taxes. These duties and taxes are not included in our product prices or shipping costs. You are responsible for the payment of all duties and taxes due, to the shipping company handling the import.
e. It is worth noting that we find a high proportion of missing items are held at local sorting offices or are held by a neighbour or colleague. Royal Mail or the Courier Service should leave a card indicating this, however there are times when these are misplaced or not left at all, so if possible please check first. All UK and EU customers are entitled to a full refund if the goods ordered have not been received within 30 days of purchase. In good faith we offer a standard delivery method without tracking for all orders under 2kg in weight to help keep your costs down. We accept there will be times when large value items are despatched using this delivery method and that we are liable for all losses that will incur for parcels that go missing. We reserve the right to remove this delivery method at anytime should it prove to be unreliable and adverse to us.
If any part of these conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which Electric Keys excludes its liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

Please do not post any returns back without speaking to us. For UK customers we will arrange the return of the items at no cost to you and for non UK customers we will reimburse you for the cost of the return; and it helps us ensure you receive the best possible customer service.
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law, and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
These terms and conditions, together with the current Electric Keys website prices, delivery details and Electric Keys contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by Electric Keys. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a director of Electric Keys. In particular nothing said by any sales person on behalf of Electric Keys should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised Electric Keys representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by Electric Keys. Electric Keys shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
